The 2nd match between visitors Penang and UKM played on Saturday, 15th April at the Kinrara Oval ended with a tie. On winning the toss, Penang elected to field first. UKM took the challenge to built a strong opening stand of 50 runs. Their next wicket fell at 108. Their final total was 232 for 7. Opener Fikri Makram Rosdi contributed the most with 75 runs. Che Wan Razlan helped with 41 while Amdam Wiliyoh 34, Nazril A. Rahman 23 and Ainool Hafizs Md. Yatim 23 were the others who chipped in. Amir Adzim and Khizar Hayat Durrani took 2 wickets each for 34 and 54 runs respectively.

Penang during their innings were 94 for 2 off 23.1 overs when rain stopped play for nearly 2 hours. Using the DLS Calculation a revised target of 186 runs off another 14.5 overs was set. Penang took on the challenge but ran shot of 1 runs as the match ended in a tie. Justin Frew top scored for Penang with 93 while skipper Darvin Muralitharan helped with 47 runs. Patrick Dooley 13 and Sharvin Muniyandy 11 were the other who chipped in to salvage the tie. Faiz M.Nasir took 2 wickets for 16 off his 5 overs spell.
