Kuwait skipper Amna Tariq, disheartened by the show, said: “We made a lot of mistakes today but it was a good experience. These type of matches is what we need. We will go back, study our mistakes and come back strongly. I appreciate Malaysia for bowling, batting, and fielding brilliantly.”
Malaysian skipper Winifred Duraisingam lauded her teammates and said: “After our defeat in the first match, we had a team meeting. We knew that we are capable of performing much better than what we did yesterday, and we decided to show it today. I am thankful to my teammates for showing what they are capable of.  We had decided that our top order should contribute and I am delighted that everyone contributed with good partnerships.”
